APPARATUS FOR SENSING REMAINING TONER IN A DEVELOPER

The apparatus detects the amount of residual toner in a product adopting electronograph style. The partition wall(2a) in the housing(22) of a development device(21) has a hole(26) at upside, matching with the axis(25) of a mixer device(23), and a transparent window(27) at downside. Photosensor(28) forming a radiation device(28a) and a receipt device(28b) is set up on the outside of the transparent window(27). Rib(22b) attaching a reflection plate(29) is the inside of the housing(22). Mixer wings(24) attached on the up- and downside of the mixer device(23) is installed and a cleaning rubber(32) is installed on the mixer wing(24). As the axis(25) of the mixer device(23) inserts the hole(26) of the housing(22), the cleaning rubber(32) revolves to clean the transparent window(27) and the reflection plate(29).
