In the sheet feeding device, a sheet feeding cassette where sheets are loaded is integrally formed with a fitting piece. A torsion spring is installed on the shaft, with one end fixed on the main body frame and other end fixed with the rib of a holder. The fitting piece of the holder is supported by a stopper of the main body frame. When the cassette is installed in the main body, a guide rib is guided by the slant of the sheet feeding cassette, and the rib is positioned on a sheet loading plate. The separation of sheets in the sheet feeding cassette can be prevented by the holder.
