<p>The invention relates to devices used for the magnetic treatment of liquid as it boils in a vessel provided with bottom heating. In the preferred embodiment the device comprises a circulation pipe (1) with a conical funnel opening (2) in its bottom section within which is mounted a magnet core (3) with disc-shaped polar tips (4, 5). Between the disc-shaped tips (4, 5) is a ring-shaped gap (7) through which liquid passes and simultaneously undergoes magnetic treatment. The top disc-shaped tip (4) covers the flow-through section of the funnel opening (2) but has a perforation (6) around the magnet core (3) to allow liquid to pass. The magnet core (3) is provided with an uninterrupted aperture (8) which is coaxial with the circulation pipe (1) and into which a funnel is inserted from below. The efficiency of the magnetic treatment is increased by the fact that the vapour produced as the liquid boils enters the circulation pipe (1) without passing between the disc-shaped polar tips (4, 5) and without forcing out a portion of the liquid. Liquid circulates as a result of differences in density between the liquid flowing in the circulation pipe (1) and in the open area of the vessel (18).</p> |
