The unlocking and locking mechanism has an operating member (17,20) which operates a rotary mechanism (33,35,36) which on rotation releases a swivel locking mechanism for manually moving the door or secures it to prevent manual movement of the door. The operating member can be a handle with grip part and shaft part wherein a bolt on the grip part moves in the shaft part. The shaft part is rotatable on a second shaft which has recesses in which the bolt engages. Rotary movement of the handle is transferred to the second shaft and from here by a wheel mechanism with toothed rod to a Bowden cable (17).
