Multiple line for conducting AC and DC voltages e.g. for vehicle on-board networks

In a multiple line for use with AC and DC, the two circuits have a common return conductor. The line is made flat and the common conductor also has a flat cross-section which is larger than the rest, upon the outer side of which is laid a bus system for control purposes. The conductor is flexible. Conductors with similar current-carrying capability are interleaved, the conductor carrying the AC being between the DC one and the common one.
