In an optical coupling system where a projection lens and CRT 24 are connected with a liquid 43, the angle of CAT relative to the optical axes of projection lens (tilt angle) may be changed. A first housing 21 and a second housing 22 in which an optical coupling liquid 43 is contained and sealed are coupled together with an watertight structure, and a ring cam 51 for regulating the relative space and tilt may be held between the two housings; by fastening the two housings together with bolts (32, Fig. 2), the two housings can be set at a desired relative positioning.
