a disk loading/unloading device(5) operated by the motion mode set by a function setting unit(2); a focusing control circuit(4) for the pick-up device as to a disk controlled by a spindle servo circuit(3); and a disk tilting device(7) as to bending of the disk. The method includes the step for checking the states of: spindle servo control and focusing control; disk loading/unloading; pick-up feeding; and disk tilting control.
