PURPOSE: To provide an LED holding device by which assembly and removal operations of an LED are made easy. CONSTITUTION: An insertion recessed part for an LED 1 and a lead insertion hole 12 are formed at the upper end of a socket body 7. A coupling protrusion 16 which sandwiches and holds a mounting board 15 is formed at the lower end. A flange 4 is formed at the lower side of a lens part 3 for the LED 1. An elastic holding part 11 comprising a coupling claw 10 which supports the flange 4 for the LED 1 so as not to come off is formed at the tip side of the socket body 7. A lead sandwiching and holding part 13 which sandwiches and holds a lead 2 for the LED 1 is formed at a contact terminal 8. |
