<p>PURPOSE: To simply discriminate the transmission bit rate of received data by transmitting data in a variable bit rate using four different transmission bit rates from a base station in mobile communication using spectral diffusion, and detecting the repeated frequency of received symbols by a mobile station when transmission symbols for a low transmission bit rates are repeatedly transmitted. CONSTITUTION: A received symbol sequence for one frame is inputted to a shifter 201 for shifting the received symbol sequence by one symbol, a shifter 202 for shifting it by three symbols, a shifter 203 for shifting it by seven symbols, and a self-correlation calculating correlation calculator 204, and outputs from the shifters 201 to 203 are inputted to mutual correlation calculating correlation calculators 205 to 207 and respective correlation calculation results are inputted to a comparator 209. The comparator 209 compares respective correlation results with the self-correlation result as a reference and determines a transmission bit rate and a switch 208 is switched in accordance with the determined bit rate to send the received symbol sequence to viterbi decoding processing.</p> |
