<p>PURPOSE: To provide a vehicle operation information collection system which can collect operation information to the host computer at a business office efficiently by an optimum transmitting method according to the state of returning to garage of other vehicles. CONSTITUTION: When the operation information of an operation information generating means 15 is sent to the business office 3 from the vehicle 5 and collected by a microcomputer 7, an on-line information transmitting means A sends the operation information from the vehicle 5 to the business office 3 by radio and inputs it to the host computer 7 on a condition that the on-line information transmitting means A becomes usable before a specific time set by a wait time setting means G is elapsed after the operation of a garage entrance switch 17c, but if the on-line information transmitting means A is still not ready even after the specific time is elapsed, the operation information is transmitted from the vehicle 5 to the business office 3 through a portable recording medium 25 and inputted to the host computer 7. For the purpose, the transmitting method is switched by a transmitting method selecting means D from the on-line information transmitting means A to an off-line information transmitting means B.</p> |
