PURPOSE: To eliminate sticking-out of a seal part, to prevent the high pressure water from entering, and to improve the noise insulation by forming a hollow part of a waist part held by a flange of an opening part in the specified shape, and realizing the prescribed distortion by being abutted on a slide door when it is closed. CONSTITUTION: A hollow seal part 3 is erected on the side face 2a of a waist part 2 of a weather strip 1 held by a flange F of an inner circumferential edge of an opening part W, and this hollow seal part 3 is formed of a semi-circular section part 4 and approximately tapered right and left linear parts 5a, 5b. The rise angle βrelative to the side 2a of the approximately linear part 5b is approximately equal to or smaller than the angle of advance of the front side end part of a slide door D. When the slide door D is abutted on the semi-circular part 4 with the angle P of advance on the front side when the door is closed, the approximately linear part 5b is distorted around the base point, and falls downward the side face 2a. Thus, the sealability such as prevention of high pressure water from entering and the sense of the door closing can be improved without sticking-out of the hollow seal part 3. |
