PURPOSE: To display the audio signal of a frequency, etc., without making the whole system into a large scale by incorporating an LCD to display the audio signal. CONSTITUTION: An L-channel input LCD(liquid crystal display) display 13a and an R-channel LCD display 13b are incorporated in a cassette tape recorder 1. The sound pressure levels of an L-channel and an R-channel are displayed by an oscilloscope using the LCDs 13a, 13b, and the levels at every time can easily be adjusted by a controller 14a for L-channel and a controller 14b for R-channel, respectively. In such a way, since the LCDs 13a, 13b which display an audio signal wave similarly as the oscilloscope are provided on audio equipment, for example, a reproducing device or recorder, etc., the sound pressure level can be recognized visually when recording is performed, which facilitates control, or, since not only the sound pressure level but the frequency can be measured in the reproducing device, the control can be applied precisely. |
