PURPOSE: To obtain a thin type electronic watch which has excellent portability and high reliability and reduces cost, by disposing an analog block at a center and arranging parts such as a watch driving gear, an electroluminescence driving gear, etc., so as not to be superposed in a plane manner. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal cell 7 and an electroluminescence device (an EL plate) 10 are arranged on the dial side of an analog block 43 disposed at approximately the center of a watch, and the contact members of the EL plate 10 and a circuit block 18 and liquid-crystal cell connecting rubbers 9a, 9b are mounted at two places holding a core 12. Since the parts of the block 43, a watch driving gear such as a battery 24, an electric element, etc., and an electroluminescence driving gear are disposed so as not to be superposed in a plane manner, a watch module is not thickened to the rear cover side, and there is no part, in which both driving gears are not superposed, thus resulting in approximately the same number of parts as a normal combination watch and approximately preventing the increase of the mandays of assembly, then improving battery exchange and pointer fitting operation. |
