<p>PURPOSE: To decrease defects, such as kinks and blisters, of coiled paper produced by a resin coating machine. CONSTITUTION: This resin coating machine includes a delivery device 2 which delivers the paper coiled to a cylindrical form, a resin extruder 4 which supplies the molten resin of the amt. meeting the opening degrees of slice lips disposed in a plurality in a transverse direction of the paper, opening degree adjusters 12, 14 which adjust the opening degrees of the respective slice lips, a resin coating device 6 which coats the paper with the supplied resin and a paper coiler 8 which coils the paper coated with the resin to the cylindrical form. This resin thickness profile controller has a detector 10 which detects the thicknesses of the resin applied on the paper at plural points in the transverse direction of the paper and a control means 16 for controlling driving of the opening degree adjusters in order to correct the differences from the target values corresponding to the respective slice lips by making the thicknesses of the resins in the respective detection positions correspondent to the respective slice lips.</p> |
