PURPOSE: To provide a sealing device by which a liquid for sealing up can be sealed by a seal lip made of a rubber shape elastic body and the invasion of a foreign body to a seal lip sliding part from outside can be obstructed and further a seal property can be improved more. CONSTITUTION: A sealing device is provided with a ring shape first seal member 2 provided with a rubber shape elastic body 24 and a metal ring 21 for reinforcing and a ring shape second seal member 3 provided with a slide material 32 made of resin and a rubber shape elastic body 31. Accordingly, the first seal member 2 has a seal lip 23 extending toward a liquid side for sealling up and sealing and contacting to a partner slide member 12 slidably and also a ring shape recessed part 26, on which the second seal member 3 can be mounted, is installed on the end surface of an opposite liquid side for sealing up and the outer periphery of the rubber shape elastic body of the second seal member is fitted to the inner periphery wall 21c of the ring shape recessed part 26 and the slide member 32 made of resin is sealed and contacted to the partner slide member 12 slidably. |
