摘要 |
PURPOSE: To provide an optical transmission circuit capable of surely removing a distortion component even at the time of executing transmission through optical fibers or amplification and reducing deterioration due to a noise in an optical transmission circuit for applying feedforward distortion compensating technology. CONSTITUTION: In the optical transmission circuit applying feedforward distortion compensating technology as a non-linear distortion component removing method generated from an optical modulator 4, an external optical modulator 17 is arranged on the output part of the circuit, output light from the modulator 4 which includes a distortion component is inputted to the modulator 17 and an error signal generated from a difference between an electric signal obtained after photoelectrically converting a part of the output light from the modulator 4 and a modulating electric signal inputted to the modulator 4 is inputted as a modulating electric signal to the modulator 17 by a phase reversed from that of an error signal included in the input light to the modulator 17. |
