PURPOSE: To take a measure instantly while enhancing printing quality by detecting the generation of missing dots or excessive dots during printing. CONSTITUTION: A sensor block 8 having light emitting elements and light detecting elements respectively arranged thereto in the same number as printing pins 2 at the same pitch is provided to a card holder 4 and a dot immediately after printing is detected by the sensor block 8 to be compared with printing pattern data. |
