PURPOSE: To eject remaining paper inside a carrying route without giving an adverse effect on a driving system and a photoreceptor by driving a carrying means and executing a forced paper ejecting operation only once when a detecting signal is outputted by a jamming detecting means. CONSTITUTION: When a main motor 48, a paper feeding roller 18 and a paper ejecting roller 22 are turned on by a CPU 36, paper fed from a paper feeding tray is carried along the paper carrying route by the paper feeding roller 18. Necessary time for feeding one sheet of the paper is secured and the paper passes the paper feeding roller 18. Thus, the CPU 36 turns off the paper feeding roller 18 (clutch thereof). Then, the main motor 48 and the paper ejecting roller 22 (clutch thereof) are turned off after securing the necessary time for completely ejecting the paper by the paper ejecting roller 22, so that the paper is forcedly ejected from the carrying route. Then, a forced paper ejection flag (JMRNF) is reset and also a forced paper ejection inhibition flag (JMOKF) is reset. |
