PURPOSE: To obtain soft and high-strength nonwoven fabric excellent in moisture permeability and dyeability by carrying out the flash spinning of a mixed solution of both an olefinic and an ester-based polymers, accumulating the spun fibers, forming a network fiber web and then performing the self-fusion treatment of contact points among the network fibers over the whole. CONSTITUTION: This network fiber nonwoven fabric is obtained by respectively kneading an olefinic polymer such as a high-density polyethylene or polypropylene and an ester-based polymer such as polyethylene terephthalate with 0.1-5wt.% crystal nucleating agent such as talc powder, then preparing a mixed solution at 5-30wt.% polymer concentration using methylene chloride as a solvent, discharging the resultant solution at 150-240 deg.C temperature under >=40kg/cm<2> autogenous pressure from discharge holes into a region at a lower temperature under a lower pressure than those described above within 90min, forming fibers having a three-dimensional network structure in which the olefinic and the ester-based fibrillated fibers are substantially continuous, depositing the resultant fibers on a moving conveyor, providing a web and then treating the formed web with hot calender rolls. Thereby, nonwoven fabric having self-fused contact points among the mutual network fibers over the whole is obtained. |
