PURPOSE: To reduce the processing time by forming an image memory with a specific number of one-bit data RAMs to which a specific line byte number is set so as to decrease the number of access to the RAMs for rotation processing. CONSTITUTION: An image memory 11 and image output/input means 12, 13 are connected to an image processing section 10 and the memory 11 consists of 8-sets of 1-bit data bus RAMs 0-7. The processing section 10 writes data for each line from the means 13 to the memory 11 once per 8-bits and reads the data sequentially from a head address of the image memory after the image data by one page are stored, a compressor 6 codes the data and a communication control section 4 sends the data to a facsimile equipment. On the other hand, the processing section 10 expands the received code data into the memory 11 and the image data are read from each RAM once for 8-bits each and the data are subjected to P/S conversion and the resulting data are transferred to an image output means 12. Since memory access for plural number of times for rotation processing is not required, the rotation processing time is reduced. |
