PURPOSE: To improve adhesion property between a film supporting body and a photographic emulsion layer at normal temp. and normal humidity by applying a water dispersion of polyurethane and a specified coating liquid on both or one face of a polyester film and subjecting the film to heat treatment. CONSTITUTION: Before the completion of the orientation of crystal in a polyester film, a coating liquid comprising water dispersion of polyurethane and a dichloro-S-triazine crosslinking agent expressed by formula I or formula II is applied on one or both faces of the film. Then, the film is dried, stretched and heat-treated to complete the orientation of the crystal. In the formulae, A is an alkyl group, cyclic alkyl group, aryl group, aralkyl group, metal or hydrogen atom, R1 , R2 are hydrogen, alkyl groups, cyclic alkyl group, aryl groups, aralkyl groups, -NHR3 (R3 is an alkyl or acyl group), and R1 and R2 may be bonded to form a five or six-member ring including O, N-R4 , (R4 is an alkyl group). The amt. of the crosslinking agent is 0.001wt.% to 200wt.% of the polyurethane. |
