PURPOSE: To provide an MPU program changing device in which the sum value after a change is made to be automatically calculated, without manual aid, for an MPU program changing work. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a transmission/reception part 2a performing the reading and writing of an MPU program, an input/output part 2b performing the reading and writing of data for a mounted external storage device 3, a data processing part 2c performing the processing and transfer between the transmission/reception part 2a and the input/output part 2b and a control part 2d controlling the whole of the device. At the time of changing the MPU program, the external storage device 3 storing the MPU program after a change is mounted on the input/output part 2b. In order, for every address, the reading of the stored MPU program after the change and the writing of the MPU program after this change are performed. At the same time, the sum value of the MPU program is corrected and changed based on the sum of the difference of the partial sum value for every address. |
