PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically control a curl formed on a sheet to be flat even if the sheet has different level and different characteristics by bending the sheet in design in both directions of moving toward and apart from an image. SOLUTION: A sheet curl remover 200 for removing a curl of a sheet after printing by an electrophotographic printing machine has a driving clamper formed of an idler roller for feeding the sheet and a driving roller 206. Three- point curved gates 208 are mounted on an idler roller shaft and a bending baffle 228 is provided downstream of the curved gate 208 to give bending to the sheet in the direction of moving apart from an image while functioning with the clampers located between a driving roller 222 and a pinch shaft 220 and between a driving roller 230 and a pinch shaft 231. Two-point gates 225 are provided downstream of the gates 208 whereby the sheet is directed to a double processing passage 112 or an outlet passage 116.
