PURPOSE: To reduce torque fluctuation and vibration and make smooth rotation characteristics by controlling the total number of connection points to be connected to a drive power supply so that 3 or 4 is alternately repeated every time an input pulse is received at the time of drive. CONSTITUTION: T10 is classified into five sets, namely T1 and T6, T2 and T7, T3 and T8, T4 and T9, and T5 and T10 by an output-stage transistor T1 and sets of two transistors are connected serially to constitute a drive circuit. The connection part of a coil winding E from a coil winding A is connected to the connection part of one set of output-stage transistors T1 and T6, T2 and T7, T3 and T8, T4 and T9, and T5 and T10 which are connected in series. In this manner, at the time of five-phase excitation in 45 phase excitation, the number of connection points connected to a power supply is set to 4, two out of the connection points are connected to the power supply, one connection point out of other connection points is connected to 3/4 potentials of the power supply voltage, and the other connection point is connected to the 1/4 potential of the power supply voltage. |
