NAVIGATION DEVICE WITH VOICE GUIDE

PURPOSE: To perform guide with a voice message which a driver can easily understand. CONSTITUTION: A path searching device 35 selects a voice message from a message registration device 37 via a selector 36 for each guide point on a driving path which is preset from an input device 34. When an own vehicle position given from an own vehicle position detection device 32 reaches a guide point, voice data created by a guide point data creation part 40 are given to an output device 38 by an output timing judgment part 41 for acoustic output. A confirmation device 42 is provided to confirm a voice message for each guide point by simulation before actually driving a vehicle. A modifying device 39 is provided to change the confirmed details of voice messages to a more easily understandable details based on the connection relationship of a road at the guide point.
