PURPOSE: To provide a balloon catheter for closing the aorta which is formed to a smaller tube diameter, is made multifuctional by formation of multiple lumens and is lessened in invasion into the living body without impairing the expansion operability of a balloon. CONSTITUTION: This balloon catheter consists of a flexible catheter tube 1 sealed at its front end and is provided with the balloon 2 on the outer peripheral surface in the front part of the tube. The internal cavity 9 of the tube has an aperture 7 communicating with the internal cavity of the balloon, and further, an arbor 3 which is inserted therein over the entire length and is fixed by a front end sealing part 4 and a rear end fixing part is built therein. |
