JOINING MATERIAL OF SOLID ELECTROLYTE FUEL CELL STACK AND ITS JOINING METHOD

PURPOSE: To prevent the damage to a constituting component and decrease electrical contact resistance in a joining part. CONSTITUTION: Unit cells each comprising a solid electrolyte film, a fuel side electrode and an oxygen side electrode arranged on each side of the solid electrolyte film are electrically joined with an interconnector. A joining material made of a composite material comprising a mixture of NiO and an interconnector material is placed between the fuel side electrode of the unit cell or a current collector coming into contact with the fuel side electrode and the interconnector, and they are baked while the joining surface is pressed.
