PURPOSE: To save energy and, more concretely permit the achievement of highly efficient heat transfer and waste-heat recovery simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: Oxidizing agent and fuel, preheated to a high temperature of about 800 deg.C or higher by employing an air preheater 3 and the like, are injected separately into a furnace 1 and are mixed in the furnace to burn them. On the other hand, high-temperature already burnt gas, whose heating is finished in the furnace, is circulated through the outside or inside of the furnace employing a circulating passage 2 and the like or the already burnt gas is thrown again into the furnace 1 after mixing it in a mixer 14 and the like at the supplying side of the fuel or the oxidizing agent to average the lowering of the maximum temperature in the furnace or the temperature distribution of the whole of the furnace. |
