PURPOSE: To provide an electronic game device which can be constituted without requiring any display part by reading out the data showing the state of an area corresponding to designated block, and emitting sounds based on the read out data with a sound emitting means. CONSTITUTION: When a cross cursor key 1 is operated, a CPU 4 discriminates which one of respective front, rear, left and right SW 1F-1L the operation corresponds to, and the data are read out from maze informations stored in a ROM 5 with the data showing the block, where a current position exists, in a maze as an address. When walls exist in front of the current position, the sounds of the same tone and the same volume are generated from the left and right speakers of a headphone 8, when walls exist on the right side of the current position, the sound is generated from the right speaker, and when walls exist on the left side, the sound is generated from the left speaker. Thus, a user can recognize the direction of the current position in which the walls exist. |
