<p>PURPOSE: To attain the parallel machining of plural works and to improve the productivity by connecting a host computer to an NC control part of a machine tool device where plural gantries are provided to transmit the machining information on the works and the inter-gantry approximation information via a communication circuit. CONSTITUTION: The gantries 4 (4A, 4B) are provided along a fixing table where a work is attached so that the runs of the gantries can be driven, and the NC control parts 14a and 14b which issue the machining designation are added to the gantries 4. A common host computer 21 is connected to both parts 14A and 14B to transmit the machining information on the work and the inter-gantry approximation information via a communication circuit 22. In this time, the relative positions of the gantries 4 are detected by a sensor and the movements of both gantries are stopped if the abnormal approximation is detected between them, and the movement of one of both gantries 4 is started again when these gantries set close to each other move in the directions opposite to each other.</p> |
