PURPOSE: To perform the estimation of a large number of dipoles and the estimation of a distributed current with high accuracy in the estimation of the current source in a living body. CONSTITUTION: In a method for estimating the current source in a living body by arranging a plurality of magnetic field measuring means in the vicinity of an examinee and estimating the current supply distribution and current dipoles in the examinee on the basis of the magnetic field distribution measured by the respective magnetic field measuring means, when the current supply distribution and the current dipoles are estimated at a desired time, the magnetic field distribution at the desired time and the magnetic field distributions measured before and after the desired time are used. |
