<p>PURPOSE: To simplify the removing work of a jammed paper sheet, without using a complex mechanism. CONSTITUTION: In a state where a process cartridge 27 is separated, a gear G is not engaged with gears K and L, so that the connection of the gears in a part on the downstream side in carrying from the gear L to a motor is released. Therefore, a fixing roller is rotated with a small force, without being restricted by the static torque of a motor, even if a paper sheet is jammed in the vicinity of the fixing roller, so that a user can easily pull out the jammed sheet.</p> |
