<p>PURPOSE: To provide a pipe coupling which can prevent a spring from being corroded by fluid led to flow through a fluid passage, by inserting a valve guide body in a valve body so as to support the valve body in the shaft direction of a coupling main body, and arranging, inside the cylindrical body part of the valve body, a spring for applying spring force in such a direction that a clearance for a fluid flow is closed against the valve body. CONSTITUTION: A clearance 17 for a fluid flow between the inner circumferential surface of a coupling main body 11 and the outer circumferential surface of a cylindrical part 15, which is positioned at the tip of the cylindrical part 15 and brought in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the coupling main body 11 by the axial movement of the cylindrical part 15, is opened/closed by the valve part 16 of a valve body 14. A compression coil spring 22 is supported by the valve body part 16 of this valve body 14 and the end surface of the valve guide part 19 of a valve guide body 18 and the valve body 14 is moved in a valve closing direction by the compression coil spring 22 so that the valve body part 16 is brought in contact with a valve seat surface 12 formed in the inner circumferential part of the tip opening of the coupling main body 1. Hereby, a fluid flow part is positioned outside the valve body 14 and the compression coil spring 22 is provided inside the valve body 14, so that the valve body 14 can be prevented from being corroded without having any contact with fluid.</p> |
