<p>PURPOSE: To provide stiffness in a discharge direction of a paper sheet, to reduce the occurrence of a curl, and to improve matching ability and loading ability by a method wherein a regulating means to regulate slackness of the paper sheet occurring between discharge rotary bodies is arranged between a plurality of the discharge rotary bodies to discharge the paper sheet through rotation and the regulating means is resiliently supported. CONSTITUTION: A paper discharge device comprises a paper discharge roller 1 serving as a discharge rotary body; a kick-out roller 2 serving a press means to press a paper sheet against the paper discharge roller 1; and a paper discharge roller 8 making contact with the paper discharge roller 1. The paper discharge roller 8 and the kick-out roller 2 are energized against the paper discharge roller 1 side through the force of a spring 4. A rib 12 is provided between the rollers 2 and 2 to serve as a regulating means energized to the paper discharge roller side through the force of the spring 13. Each rib 12 is arranged in such a manner that it is freely movable only in a vertical direction and height is prevented from exceeding a specified value. This constitution subdivides waviness of the paper sheet when the paper sheet passes and improves aligning ability and loading ability of the paper sheets in such a way that high waviness does not remain at a discharging paper.</p> |
