PURPOSE: To manufacture a decorative molded product of scarcely defective design by laminating a paper and a colored or printed non-woven cloth successively on the surface of a thermosetting molding material or laminating a sheet for decorative molded product integrally laminated preliminarily and heat and pressure molding. CONSTITUTION: A decorative molded product is manufactured by. laminating a paper 2 and a colored or printed non-woven fabric 3 successively in the above order at least on a part of the surface of a thermosetting molding material 4 or laminating a paper 2 with the colored or printed non-woven fabric 3 integrally laminated preliminarily in a manner of bringing the paper 2 into contact with the thermosetting molding material 4 and heat and pressure molding them. A surface layer is brought into contact with the mold surface in a good manner by using the non-woven fabric 3 of a superior flexibility for the surface layer, and no clearance can be formed between the mold surface and the sheet surface, and the defective appearance of the vicinity of sheet ends generated by the inflow of the base material resin is improved. Also the defective appearance generated by the stretch of the non-woven fabric 3 at the time of molding is improved by using the paper 2 in between.
