PURPOSE: To easily attach a wheel speed (rotational speed) sensor. CONSTITUTION: A wheel speed sensor 100 is constituted of a magnet rotor 1 and a slide bearing 6 as a rotary means, a sensor 2 as a detection means, a spring 5 as a connection means and a case 3 &a rotor stopper 7 as a support means. The spring 5 connects a shaft 4 and the magnet rotor 1. The sensor 2 and the rotor stopper 7 hold the magnet rotor l and the slide bearing 6 therebetween. The sensor 2 has a shaft part 2a and a detection part 2b and the magnet rotor 1 is rotated using the shaft part 2a as a fixed shaft and the slide bearing 6 as a bearing. The sensor 2 is fixed to a case 3 and the case 3 is fixed to a housing 9.
