FIELD: tube production by drawing with subsequent expansion of it on a mandrel. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of drawing a tube blank without mandrel in a drawing die, having a cylindrical land and a working cone, and simultaneous expansion of the blank on a stationary cylindrical mandrel, having double-side truncated cones. The truncated cones of the mandrel are symmetrical ones. Each cone has an apex angle, equal to (12-16) degrees. An extension of the cylindrical part of the mandrel corresponds to an extension of the land of the drawing die. A diameter of the cylindrical part of the mandrel is less than a diameter of the land of the drawing die by value, consisting (0.8-1.2) of a thickness of a wall of the tube blank. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of tube geometry along its inner diameter, stable process of tube drawing. |
