FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method for teeming liquid metals and alloys includes metal heating in teeming device up to the temperature of pouring the metal entire mass into molds, prolonged holding it at the temperature of pouring and pouring the metal into molds. The method is distinguished by the fact that all mass of metal in teeming device is held at the temperature which is below the temperature of pouring by 3-15%; separated from the whole mass of metal, is, at least, one portion of metal and heated in the interval between successive pouring by independent heating device up to pouring temperature and transferred to molds. EFFECT: reduced power consumption for teeming liquid metal by 15-20%, decreased melting losses of the main and expensive alloying elements and increased service life of lining of teeming devices. |
