FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electric switch for filament lamps has base, two systems of contacts (basic and supplementary) and control element. Switch is provided with current limiting element placed in series with basic system of contacts. Supplementary system of contacts shunts current limiting element when there is no external mechanical action on control element cutting off current limitation.
