PAPER AFTER-TREATING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a paper after-treating device to have excellent paper conveying ability without occupying a space. CONSTITUTION: In a paper after-treating device wherein a paper sheet is nipped between paper discharge roller 27 and a driven roller 28 following the paper discharge roller 27 to discharge a paper sheet, and the paper discharge direction of the paper sheet is varied approximately within a 90 deg. arc and the paper sheet is guided to a discharge paper tray 4, a guide member 39 to vary the paper discharge direction of the paper sheet is arranged in the vicinity of a spot situated downstream from the paper discharge roller 27. A gap between the paper discharge roller 27 and the guide member 39 is formed in a shape spreading toward a paper discharge direction.
