摘要

PURPOSE: To make a set of driving voltages outputted from a signal line driving integrated circuit/symmetric about its central potential by means of a digital display signal whose data bits are inverted with a prescribed inversion period in order to exactly AC-driving an active matrix liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a reference voltage circuit 6 taking out plural reference voltages having a central potential and potentials symmetric about central potential, a signal line driving IC 4 for digital/analog converting the processed image data 110 as a digital display signal based on a reference voltage and outputting the driving voltage to the signal line 3 of a TFT liquid crystal panel 1 and a digital signal processing circuit 20 for data-bit inverting the input image data 103 with the period of one horizontal scanning line, performing subtraction processing of the gradation level of the input image data 103 by one gradation when a gradation level corresponding to the data-bit- inverted input image data 103 is larger than a half of the maximum gradation level and outputting the processed image data 110 subjected to subtraction by one gradation to the signal line driving IC 4.
