PURPOSE: To enhance the durability of a compressor by changing-over a detector installed on the downstream side of a refrigerant/water-heat exchanger, at the time when the completion of boiling-up approaches, to a lower setting temperature to control the rotary speed of a circulation pump. CONSTITUTION: Superheated gas refrigerant of a compressor 1 flows into a refrigerant/ water-heat exchanger 2 where the water fed from a circulation pump 6 is heated. The outlet water temperature of the refrigerant/water-heat exchanger 2 is detected by a temperature detector 8, which transmits a signal to a controller 9, to control the rotary speed of the circulation pump 6 so that the detected outlet temperature may be a setting temperature. During the operation, hot water in the upper level in the hot water storage tank exchanges heat with water supplied by heat conduction. When the water is boiled up and its temperature approaches its final boiling temperature, the water in a hot and cold water mixing tank begins to flow in the refrigerant/ water-heat exchanger 2, which is detected with a first temperature detector 7. The controller 9 changes over a second signal of a second temperature detector 8 to a third signal of a lower setting temperature to control the rotary speed of the circulation pump 6. As a result, the boiling temperature is lowered so that the discharge pressure of the compressor 1 and the temperature may be lowered. This construction improves the durability of the compressor. |
