<p>PURPOSE: To provide an electromagnetic device which can improve the frequency characteristic of an inverter type electric-discharge lamp turning-on device and the reliability of which can be improved when a transient stress is applied to the device due to the repeated turning on/off of the power supply, attachment/detachment of a lamp, emitter-less, etc. CONSTITUTION: The winding structure of the high-voltage side coil of the inductor for filter, inductor for resonance, transformer for balancer, or transformer for output of an inverter turning-on circuit having a discharge lamp as a load or the pulse transformer of a pulse generating circuit for starting is constituted in such a way that the width of a coil winding is made narrower than that of the wire in the direction of the winding radius and one coil winding is constituted of one layer.</p> |
