PURPOSE: To easily and quickly execute the retrieving and accessing work of the newest stored document by displaying a cursor on a selection specifying position for the newest stored document at the time of displaying a list of the document names of stored documents. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 11 executes document name list displaying processing based upon a program stored in a program area 12A of a ROM 12. A file information table 30 is read out from a document floppy disk (FD) loaded onto a floppy disk drive (FDD) 21 and stored in a table storing area 13A of a RAM 13. Then the table 30 is referred, respective document names stored in the table 30 are displayed as a list and a cursor is displayed on a selection specifying position of the leading document name. A guide message line is formed on the display screen of the document name list and function key operation is displayed as a guide. |
