<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a color image of high picture quality having excellent stability with time and environment and showing no disturbance of image nor mixing of colors by incorporating a silica treated for hydrophobicity and a silica treated for positive electrification in a specified relation as external additives to the toner particles. CONSTITUTION: This electrostatic charge image developing toner consists of toner particles and additives. The additives contains a silica treated for hydrophobicity and a silica treated for positive electrification. The amt. Wn (wt.%) of the hydrophobic silica to the toner and its BET specific surface area An (m<2> /g), and the amt. Wp (wt%) of the positive electrifying silica to the toner and its BET specific surface area Ap (m2 /g), and the volume average particle diameter dt (μm) of the toner particles satisfy the relation of 150<=[WnX-(An<1/2> +Wp×(AP<1/2> )]×dt<=500, wherein 3<=dt<=15, 0.5<=Wn+Wp<=20, 50<=An<=350, and 50<=Ap<=350.</p> |
