<p>PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of restoration in the case of subjecting a color image to variable power processing, to reduce circuit scale in the case of providing this device with a hardware and to shorten the time for processing in the case of providing this device with a software. CONSTITUTION: A Lab transforming part 73 performs transformation into L (luminance component), a* and b* (color difference components) based on R, G and B corrected in to standardγcharacteristics and a variable power part 74 calculates a virtual sampling point due to magnification. Concerning the L, interpolation (at the time of enlargment) of thinning (at the time of reduction) is performed by arithmetic accoriding to a sampling. Besides, concerning the a* and b*, weighted averaging is performed between two adjacent picture elements corresponding to the distance. A Lab transforming part 75 transforms the signals L, a* and b* subjected to variable power processing by the variable power part 74 into signals Y, M, C and Bk.</p> |
