PURPOSE: To provide the high-quality and high-picture-quality plasma display by securing satisfactory white balance and gradation property on the quartetplasma display. CONSTITUTION: Concerning this plasma display, since a deciding circuit for outputting a control signal corresponding to the value of the least significant bit of a digitized green video signal and a timing signal and an adder circuit 8 for adding this digitized green video signal and the output of the deciding circuit are provided, the signal turned to 1/2 based on the timing signal can be reflected with the information of the least significant bit lost by turning the value of the green signal to 1/2 for white balancing and 256 gradations can be provided without lowering gradation property.
