PURPOSE: To allow a slave set to confirm a terminal equipment identification signal by displaying a called terminal equipment identification signal (CSI) or a transmission terminal equipment identification signal (TSI) sent from a master set through radio communication on a terminal equipment identification signal of the slave set as character information. CONSTITUTION: When a slave set 2 being a cordless telephone set replies a phone call and start of facsimile reception is commanded by a start button provided on the slave set 2, a master set 1 sends a TSI received from an opposite party by a facsimile communication means, that is, an ID of the opposite party to the slave set 2 through a radio channel as a control signal and the signal is displayed on a display section 16 of the slave set 2 receiving the signal such as a liquid crystal display device. Thus, when the slave set 2 is used to reply a phone call to make facsimile reception, it is possible to confirm the ID of the opposite party without visiting a location where the master set 1 is installed on each occasion. Moreover, after the confirmation of the TSI, the stop of facsimile reception is displayed by a stop button provided on the slave set 2. |
