PURPOSE: To provide an auxiliary flash emitting device in which a wireless light increasing photographing can be easily performed without requiring a new special device. CONSTITUTION: In an auxiliary flash emitting device to be set near a camera having an active type range finding system, this device has a light receiving means (IRED light receiving means) 3 for receiving a reflected light emitted from a camera body 11 and reflected by a subject, a direction judging means (emitting part rotating quantity/position detecting means) 5 for relatively judging the direction of the light incident to the light receiving means 3 to a prescribed standard direction in the set position, and a moving means (emission part rotating means) 6 for moving at least a flash emitting part substantially in the direction of the light incident to the light receiving means 3 on the basis of the output of the direction judging means 5. |
