PURPOSE: To realize cost-down and reduction of installation space and moreover to satisfy reliability by using in common the power supply in the controller within the duplicated-controller type optical transmission apparatus in view of reducing the number of power supplies required. CONSTITUTION: A power switch section 7 is provided between a power supply 3 and controllers 1, 2. The power supply 3 is constituted of three power units 4, 5, 6, each of which can supplies the power to be consumed by the controllers 1, 2 and has the N+1 redundardized constitution. The power switch section 7 separates the power supply line into two sections for the controller 1 and controller 2. |
